Objective:
The goal of the project was to develop a dedicated solution that would automate operational processes, increase the efficiency of fleet management and improve communication between company departments.
Challenge:
Our goal was to create a system that would be flexible enough to easily adapt to changing operational processes. Instead of building a universal solution, we opted for a modular design, enabling the implementation of functionalities closely tailored to the realities of the transport company’s operations. It was crucial to create an architecture that allows full mapping and automation of even the most complex and non-standard procedures.
Activities:
- Needs analysis: We conducted an in-depth workshop with the client's team to understand the specifics of their business processes and identify areas for optimization.
- System design: Based on the information gathered, we developed the system architecture, taking into account modularity, which allows for easy future expansion.
- Implementation: We used modern technologies such as Java and Angular to create an efficient backend and a responsive frontend.
- Integration: The system has been integrated with third-party mapping services, enabling precise route planning and real-time vehicle monitoring.
- Testing and implementation: We conducted comprehensive functional and performance testing and then deployed the system in the client's production environment.
Flexible implementation of BaseTMS
BaseTMS is a system that we designed from the ground up as a flexible solution that can be precisely customized to meet the individual needs of any transportation company. Instead of creating a rigid, universal product, we relied on an architecture that allows the implementation of modules and functionalities in line with the client’s specific operational processes. As a result, the software adapts to the organization, not the other way around. Our goal was to create a tool that not only automates work, but realistically supports companies in the daily management of complex transportation operations.
Optimization and automation of processes
One of the main assumptions we made when designing BaseTMS was the maximum automation of operational processes in the transportation industry. Already at the stage of analyzing the client’s needs, we focused on identifying areas that could be optimized through the system’s automatic operations. Thanks to this, BaseTMS is not just a tool that supports work – it is a system that realistically relieves employees, minimizing time-consuming manual tasks.
