    About the client

Kawczyński Logistics is a family-owned transport company operating in the European market, specialising in pharmaceutical and food transport. It runs a modern fleet with refrigerated trailers, delivers services 24/7 and holds ISO 9001, IFS Logistics, GDP and TAPA TSR certifications — placing very high demands on the IT systems that support transport operations.

    Scope of work

We designed and rolled out a dedicated, end-to-end TMS aligned 1:1 to Kawczyński Logistics' complex processes — with a Control Tower module, advanced vehicle and re-coupling planning logic, ETA prediction with notifications and integrations with Comarch Optima and the client's BI.

    Dedicated TMS system

A complex, custom TMS built for the client's real operations — orders, fleet, drivers, documents and the requirements of pharma and food (e.g. GDP, temperature control, audit trail).

    Vehicle planning with re-couplings

A fleet planning module with advanced re-coupling logic (tractor–trailer swaps en-route). The system considers locations, driver hours, loading/unloading slots and the client's business rules — and suggests the optimal combinations.

    Control Tower

A central Control Tower module aggregating the most important operational events. Dispatch sees a single prioritised list of issues to handle — no need to switch between several screens.

    ETA prediction and notifications

An advanced ETA engine for every order, based on the route, traffic, driver hours and history. If the plan slips, the system automatically alerts dispatch before the delay reaches the end customer.

    Automatic order capture

Automation of incoming orders from the client's channels — orders land in the TMS with correctly populated fields, without manual rekeying by forwarding staff.

    Comarch Optima and BI integration

Bidirectional integration with Comarch Optima (settlements, invoices, contractors) and the client's BI (reports, KPIs, operational analytics). Data flows automatically and stays consistent across the organisation.

    Key outcomes

    • Complex TMS tailored 1:1 to Kawczyński Logistics' processes
    • Advanced vehicle planning with re-coupling logic
    • Control Tower with prioritised alerts for dispatch
    • Automatic ETA calculation and alerts on deviations
    • Automatic order capture — no manual rekeying
    • Full integration with Comarch Optima and BI

    Integration with the client's system

The TMS was integrated with Comarch Optima and the client's BI — so transport operations, finance and analytics live in one coherent data ecosystem. Automatic order capture removes manual rekeying between systems.
