About the client
TruckCheck is Appwise's own SaaS product dedicated to transport companies and truck fleets. It standardises daily technical inspections (DVIR — Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) and lets fleets document compliance with health & safety procedures, carrier requirements and logistics contracts. Delivered as a ready SaaS — the driver logs in with phone number and PIN.
Scope of work
We designed and built the entire TruckCheck platform — the mobile app for drivers, the fleet dispatch panel, the backend, integrations and reporting. The product is rolled out at carriers as a ready SaaS, aligned to real daily driver check-in processes.
Mobile vehicle inspection checklist
The driver goes through a configurable technical inspection checklist (tyres, lighting, brakes, fluids, seals, ADR) directly in the mobile app. Quick PIN login — no passwords.
Photo documentation of defects
Every reported issue can be documented with photos and a description. Dispatch sees the proof in real time — no more 'it was/it wasn't' disputes when the vehicle is returned.
Defect notifications to dispatch
Critical defects go straight to the dispatcher and mechanic with the right priority. A vehicle never goes out with a fault no one noticed.
Dispatch and fleet panel
A central panel showing the inspection status of each vehicle, check-in history, open defects and fleet KPIs. Dispatch sees in one place which vehicles are ready to go.
Inspection history and audit
Full, immutable inspection history for every vehicle — ready to show to the contractor, an auditor or in case of damage. Data is stored safely in the cloud.
Fleet reports and KPIs
Reports showing the most common defects, driver inspection discipline, service costs and compliance. Service and operational decisions based on hard data, not gut feeling.
